My name is Eloy Jaimes I grew up in Florida but spent most of my years In Central Pa. Food has always been a passion of mine growing up in a multicultural house hold. I credit my Mexican grandmother on instilling that passion in me. The kitchen was such a central hub in our household for family gatherings and everyday food preparation.
After culinary school I started working for Starwood hotels under the Four Points by Sheraton Brand. Within 3 years I because kitchen manager. Being placed in this position, set me up to let my imagination go wild. At the same time i handled many of the weddings and caterings. I then moved to Lancaster, PA and started working at Lancaster Bible College. With my catering experience I was able to bring a nice array of food items to the students. I then had an opportunity to take an Exec. Chef position at a large Senior Living establishment. I wanted a new challenge and this brought it. In this facility we were not serving mashed potatoes and meatloaf. It was a higher end establishment. I was able to learn some new things. The good thing about seniors is that they always have something to say which helps you continue to improve your craft. After a few years I decided to try a new route and work for Kegels Produce. Now working as a Produce Consultant and as their Corporate Chef. Working a 9-5 is great because I am also able to work as a freelance chef at a variety of restaurants and catering events. Working with some great people and old friends.
Today I continue to try different recipes and techniques to improve my culinary arsenal. As we all know this environment is changing every time. My goal is to make sure each guest has an awesome experience when dining in and trying my dishes.
