If you are a Member Chef or Restaurant you can either click on your listing, scroll to the bottom and click on 'Add new recipe' or go to your Dashboard and scroll to the section My Chefs or My Restaurants and under the heading Actions, click on 'Add new recipe'.

If you are a subscribed Home Chef/Foodie, go to the Recipes tab on top menu and click on any recipe you would like to add to your Recipe Box. Click the favorite_border to add to your Recipe Box. If you are not subscribed you can save up to 5 recipes. If the recipe is available for purchase, you must purchase the recipe and it will be automatically added to My Recipe Box (which will appear in your account dropdown menu).

Copy the url from the recipe's page on any other site. Go to your My Recipe Box in your accounts dropdown menu, and paste in the dedicated field at the top of the page and then hit enter. You will be taken to a page that now shows that recipe on Chefcipes. Click the favorite_border to add it to your Recipe Box.

Recipes are restricted to Chef or Restaurant members of Chefcipes. However, subscribed Members can upload and add their own personal recipes to their Recipe Box.

We require you to sign up and create a regular user account. Members/Subscribers can save an unlimited number of recipes per month with no need to purchase individual recipes. Non-subscribers will need to purchase recipes a la carte, or can save up to 5 free recipes.

We do not store any of your credit card information on our servers. Our payment processor has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, they make use of best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security. All card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines.

Chefs & Restaurants

After you sign up for a user account, click on your account dropdown menu in upper right corner on your email address and then click on '+ Add my Chef Profile' from the dropdown selection if you are a Chef, or email us to claim your restaurant if you are a Restaurant. Complete the form as thoroughly as possible and then click submit. You will be automatically listed in our directory and you will also be able to start adding recipes to your profile and make them available for purchase to non-subscribers or to subscribers who can save them and trigger royalty payouts.

Similar to how Spotify works, you will earn Royalties from subscribers who save your recipes. 60% of each member/subscribers subscription revenue is dedicated to a payout pool where you will earn your proportionate share on a recurring basis (every month) based on the number of saved recipes from each subscriber.
You will also earn 75% of your recipes price on all a la carte sales to non-subscribers. We cover the payment processor fees and any other 3rd party fees.

Once your Dashboard reflects earnings of at least $50 you can click on the 'Redeem Earnings' button. Verify all the earnings are correct and add your PayPal email where we can electronically send your earnings. Payouts are typically processed at least once per week.

Our data is showing that when our Chefs share one of their recipes on social media they are seeing roughly 10% of their followers visit from their shared links. We've also noticed a stickiness factor from those visitors where they're clicking on other recipes from that Chef as well as others on Chefcipes.
Keep in mind that we are also driving traffic to Chefcipes through our own efforts but in order to maximize traffic to your particular recipes or profile our data suggests that sharing your pages on social media is most effective.
