Description: A delicious Peruvian classic—slightly spicy and rich with a ground walnut cream sauce. I first had this when I was in the early thirties from a co worker. I had attempted to recreate it but since I didn't know what it was called-it was not the same. Later, after marrying my 3rd wife-I met a couple who made the dish weekly and were happy to show me how. I have tweaked the original recipe, which was never written down but instead memorized by look, and taste. I added more herbs and spices, and adjusted several other aspects of the recipe. I then invited the couple that showed me this dish to try me version. They now use my version instead of the original. Lol NOTE: To make this vegetarian, simply use cubed tofu instead of the chicken.
